Our laboratory has long-standing and ongoing scientific collaborations with other laboratories, both national and international. These collaborations are mostly focused on the scientific topics of our interests, namely on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and on the biology of normal B lymphocytes. The long-established collaboration with the Laboratory of Nicholas Chiorazzi from the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, North Shore–LIJ Health System, Manhasset NY, has also provided some of our Ph.D.  students with the possibility of joining Chiorazzi’s Lab, either during their Ph.D. Program or afterwards, as Post-Docs.   Additional valuable and effective national collaborations are underway with Manlio Ferrarini from the Oncology Department of the National Institute for Cancer Research, Genova, Fortunato Morabito, Department of Medicine, Azienda Ospedaliera di Cosenza and Francesco Forconi from the Department of Clinical Medicine and Immunological Sciences of the University of Siena. Last but not least, the bioinformatics expertise of Paolo Marcatili, provide us with precious support for the study of 3D models of immunoglobulins that are expressed on the membrane of leukemic lymphocytes in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia patients.
